From November 29 – December 1, 2017 the World Ocean Council will present the Sustainable Ocean Summit in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
SOS 2017 will bring together leadership of companies and organizations representing the diversity of the Ocean Business Community. Representatives of shipping, oil and gas producers and exploration, fisheries and aquaculture, seabed mining and tourism industries will be present. And meet with leadership from renewable energy, ports, dredging, submarine cables and experts from marine science, engineering and technology, the maritime legal, financial and insurance communities; as well as ocean stakeholders from the government, inter-governmental, academic and environment communities.
SOS will provide a global platform where this diversity of interests can meet and share ideas on how to advance the development and implementation of industry-driven solutions to meet the challenge of ocean sustainability.

The Sustainable Ocean Summit will be held at at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
