ADEX, the Asia Dive Expo, has announced it will dedicate its 2017 show to a major issue, not a marine creature. ADEX organizers have decided to entirely dedicate the Asia Dive Expo to climate change and the impact it is having, and will have, on our oceans.
According to ADEX, “Climate change is the biggest challenge facing Nature and humanity, and believes the dive industry needs to face it head on and lead the way in combatting this threat to life on our blue planet.”
ADEX is the longest running and the largest dive expo in Asia celebrating its 21st year in 2016. A must-attend event for anyone interested or involved in the world of diving, the event has seen a continuous increase in visitors over the past few years, with ADEX 2015 attracting a total of 41,053 visitors over three days.
ADEX 2016 will take place April 15-17 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in Halls 401–403. The upcoming show has chosen the seahorse as its show icon, and will have dedicated activities that heighten awareness of the need for its conservation.
The following year, the 22nd Asia Dive Expo will take place April 7-9, 2017 at the Suntec in Singapore. For more information visit ADEX.
